Longshan Temple

Longshan Temple was built in the third year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1738 AD). It is a classical Chinese palace-style building. In 1985, the government announced that Longshan Temple was a second-class historic site protected by the state and it was listed together with the National Palace Museum and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall as the three major scenic spots for international tourists to travel to Taiwan. Longshan Temple regularly holds festivals and folk activities every year, such as the first lunar month lantern exhibition, the Buddha's Birthday often known as “Bathing the Buddha Festival” on April 8th every year and the Hungry Ghost Festival in July. People who come to Mengka Longshan Temple can not only appreciate the beauty of Taiwanese temple architecture, but also experience traditional folk customs.

Qingshui Cliff

Qingshui Cliff is located in the 22.7-kilometer section between Heping and Qingshui in Xiulin Township, Hualien County. Landscape is the spirit of the Suhua Highway and it has become one of the eight wonders of Taiwan. Taitung Jialulan Coastal Park

Jialulan is the name of an Amis tribe. In the Amis language, it is called "kararuan", which means a place to wash your hair, because the nearby stream is rich in sticky minerals. A group of east coast art creation enthusiasts gather here in the form of a market, sharing their dreams and lifestyles, exhibiting and selling their creativity. Fo Guang Shan

We will head to the stunning Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall, a massive religious complex containing eight stupas and the magnificent meditation hall, in which a 108-meter-high statue of the Buddha of Compassion overlooking it.

We will head to the ancient capital of Tainan to visit ancient buildings and temples, including the oldest Confucian Temple and Anping Fort. Before we return to the hotel to end the day, we will explore around the city and enjoy delicious food.

1. Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake, which is poetic and picturesque, combines the beauty of humanity and landscape and is an internationally renowned scenic spot. Sun Moon Lake has four public piers: Shuishe Pier, Dehuashe Pier, Chaowu Pier and Xuanguangsi Pier. Take a leisurely tour by bike or take boat tour around the lake. Chung Tai Chan Monastery

Chung Tai Chan Monastery is located in Puli Township, Nantou. The main body of Chung Tai Chan Monastery was designed by famous architect Li Zuyuan. With a total area of about 26,000 square meters, the park is a building combining Chinese and Western elements. There are many solemn temples in the Chung Tai Chan Monastery, dedicated to Buddhist gods.
